Default Can You Name This?

Well, I thought it was time to have some fun... or maybe it's frustration Anyway, I've circled some future flowers on this plant. The genus is pretty self explanatory. Can you guess the species? It is a species and not a hybrid. Oh, and Al, Bird Song Farm, you can't guess, because I know you know what it is or at least you should.

Obviously, I'll be back in several weeks with the answer, so keep posted!

Sorry about that, and no problem! It was a toss-up for me between that and something in section XXXXXX. How about I edit my post to blank out my 1st guess? Done! Whoops, I guess it's still in your quote, which only you can edit...

BULBOPHYLLUM!!! Do I get points for naming the entire genus, and not its abbreviation? I would have to say either its related to the lobbii group, or the echinolabium group. I say more so Bulb. lobbii!!!

Well you've all been so kind and patiently waiting for the answer to this quiz. I'm so sorry to say that I've been away the past week and the flowers opened while I was out of town. Yes, it is Bulbophyllum medusae 'Orchidglade'. The flowers don't last very long and this year they didn't open as nicely as in previous years (last pictures).
