This picture is not intended to show the orchid flower because it is a pretty bad looking plant. It is to show the weedy flower that is growing in the pot. These things are so cute, come up all over the place and bloom for months but I don't know what they are. I suspect that they are common in the forests where the sequoias grow. Someone on Orchid Board once mentioned the name in a post but I can't recall it. Does anyone know the name?
Welcome to the club. I, too, have this "weed" growing in my orchids. A local grower/vendor has it in his plants and, thus, I get it too. Once in a while I pull them out but I think they are pretty so I don't get too concerned.
Sorry, I don't know what they are called but at least you now know the "weed" is rather widespread.
