Help and please forgive me

I did some research about fig flowering, and can conclude the plant I have is not at all related to a fig. The flowers of all figs are inside a "shell". Not like the plant I have where the flowers are formed in the open.

For anyone who is still interested what the unknown plant in my yard is. see the link above! the plant will come out soon, too bad though the mocking birds love the fruit. Thanks again for every ones help.

Nice that you figured out what it is. Why are you pulling it up?

Well it is considered invasive in Florida. I don't want to add to the problem. I can find another plant (OH I know another orchid ) that will attract the birds, and is native.
