Default What kind of orchid is this?

I was at my small garden this morning looking at my plants and i saw a man walking with a box full of orchids which he is selling. He was offering me one whith flowers which looks like a Vanda Sensai Blue. I told him that I already have three but when he brought them out one by one so I can see all of the orchids, I noticed the one with the Sensai Blue looking flower is actually not a vanda. The plant on the photo is the one with the sensai blue looking flower but this is the yellow version he told me. This is the first time I saw this plant. Can someone please identify it.

Could be a Dendrobium, Bulbophyllum, or even maybe a Cattleya type. No leaves???

The aerial roots and pbulbs are similar to Catasetum-alliance plants; but catasetinae are New World orchids, they are not find in Phillipines (if the plant was collected, it isn't catasetinae)

I cut it in two. The other half has leaves. I'll take a photo of it tomorrow.

It was not collected in the wild. He told me that he get his orchids from Davao, a city here in the Philippines known for their large orchid farms.

looks like a Gramatiphyllum from the aerial roots creating a nest effect
Most of the time they would have some leaves though the older SB do drop thier leaves with no ill effect

I'm intrigued by the sensai blue looking flower

Here is the photo of the other half with leaves.

I vote for a Grammatophyllum species - those 'trash basket' roots are very characteristic of these.
