Default Unknown mail-plant, no info at all. Just a picture!

I didt plan to get an orchid last week. But for some strange reason a plant arrived, just with my adress and no return adress (to see who sent it). And not even a note in the packet, not even on the plant itself. Very strange...

So, can anyone here say what it is?

Its a very bad pictures.

Maybe, It's a gift from someone? Looks like a Multifloral Paphiopedilum. Let's wait for it to bloom so we can identify it.

Gifts? No one give me gifts! ;-)

Infact I manage to identify it, It's a insigne 'Harefield Hall' for 6 bucks on ebay.

Potted it with "normal compost" should these have any special treatment?

The general appearance of the plant is correct for Paph. insigne. This is one of the primary species behind the cool growing complex/bulldog hybrid Paphs. Summer high temp of 25C with 80% humidity and even moisture, a slight rest in winter with low temp to 5C and somewhat dryer, light 2000-3000fc. Your choice of a "normal" compost should be fine.
