Default Phalaenopsis ID please!

Can anyone help with an ID for this one? It's a rescued one from the bin, apparently our neighbours don't believe in waiting for them to flower again!

Probably just a NoID Phal. But, you can name it and enjoy!

It's gorgeous. I have one just like it but mine is NoID as well.

Even if you find one that looks exactly like it you can never be sure and should only ever use a name you find for your own purposes (if you use it on-line for your flowers you should always indicate the ID is not certain).

Phals are mass produced and there can be a lot of different hybrids that look identical to each other, or at least the differences can't be seen in photos. Many of these mass produced hybrids are never named by the breaders.

But don't worry. They are just as pretty without names. As I said I have one pretty similar and it never seems to be without flowers. I choose to make up names for mine so they don't feel left out from the ones with names

Thanks guys! RosieC, I don't think it feels out, given that all of the others are also noIDs

Val, thanks for the links! Interesting reading For all I know, it's probably an IKEA one as well! It's surprising how similar it looks to "dimension"..
