Miltonia? Male
Default Miltonia?

Hi! My first post, and first question:

What is this? The tag just says "Miltonia" and I wanted it, so I got it knowing it would just be another pretty flower.

Thanks!
Roger

oops, I believe the plant is a miltonopsis instead of a miltonia.

Very nice color contrast on that one. It is a Miltoniopsis hybrid, though there are often called Miltonia. It will not be possible to identify it more precisely than that.

Gorgeous flowers and plant! It most definitely looks like a miltoniopsis. They used to be grouped with the miltonias, and are still labeled that way for judging which adds to the confusion. They have slightly different care requirements tho and the miltoniopsis don't tolerate real warm temps for any length of time.
