I would speculate, based upon the plant- and flower structures, that it is a hybrid made using Rhyncholaelia (Brassavola) glauca as the "pod parent", and a check of OrchidWiz shows that Fennell Orchid Co. registered Bc. Daffodil (x C. aurantiaca) in 1949.
While I
never bet on unnamed hybrids being absolutely, positively, correctly identified by the flower, I'd be reasonably confident on that one.
