NoID, Pink spotted Phal. Male
Talking NoID, Pink spotted Phal.

I bought this Phal from the Local Fred meyer store after finding out that I could not get my Mini Mark Holm. This is a lovely flower, and I will love ti even if it can't be named. but thought that I might as well try to find out just in case.

Thanks all!

How cute! It may not be a Mini Mark, but at least it's spotted like one!

That DOES look familiar; the way the spots line up reminds me of one I've seen a pic of on-line somewhere.
I'll let you know if I run across it again.

thank you, and please do keep me updated if you run across anything. I actually tried looking and all i found was "hybrid" but that was on different florists sites, nothing found yet on actual sites dedicated to orchids!

I think even if you find something close you can't be certain you've found the right thing.

What I do in that case, is give it a name of something close, but keep a marker on the tag that indicates it's a NoID. That way when I post pictures I always make clear that it's a NoID and anyone else looking to ID their plant does not use my pictures as a guide.

Take a look here at a discussion on why you can't really give definate names to ones like this.

I found a couple Phalaenopsis that have spots that tend to line up:
Phal. Double Delight (google for pix)
Phal. (Carmela's Wild Thing x Neon Spots) x Carmela's Wild Thing ( photo pages of Robert Bedard Horticulture)
