Yes, the pea is a perrential sweetpea, Lathyrus Grandiflorus. A lot of people have them in their gardens near where I live in france (Lyon) and the seeds sometimes end up in nature.
As for the yellow plant, that's another common garden plant, Hypericum calycinum. Once they get settled they spread quite rapidly with underground stems, sort of like bamboo. My grandparents planted some 40 years ago and they regret it, it's taking over that area of the yard.
