Default Need help to ID this dendrobium (?)

I was at a customer's house and he had this gorgeous orchid. I believe it's a dendrobium, but he couldn't tell me anything other than that. He had had it for many years and couldn't remember where he got it and it had no ID tag.

Anyways, when I was about to leave he offered me a cutting of one of the flower spikes in a vase. I've scoured the web and asked at a couple of local orchid growers. No one can tell me, so now I turn to you.

I'd love to find this plant so I could get one for myself.

This picture is the best I can get, but it doesn't show how deep the purple color actually is. Basically, the purple on the whole flower is about as deep as it is in the center of the flowers in this pic and then the center is darker than that.

I hope someone here can point me in the right direction.

There are a ton of no name dendrobium's out there, almost as many as phal's. This one dose look nice. Make a orchid show or 2 you will come up with something like it with a name.

Thanks guys. I was just hoping that maybe someone had one of these and could point me in the right direction.

Hopefully one day I'll see one in person and be able to bring it home. :-)
