Hurricane Label Removal
A couple of years ago hurricanes wrecked my little green house and many labels were blown to kingdom come. Even a few orchids disappeared.
Most of the orchids I have are species, but several were hybrids. Attached are 2 pictures I hope someone can identify. Thank you for looking

Something similar happened to me during one of those 2004 hurricanes. I was out of town, vacationing at the time and my plants had to fend for themselves. During the aftermath I was able to round up all of my plants but almost all the tags had blown away. The plants survived and prospered but they're impossible to identify because I never kept a journal of their names. Back then I didn't realize the importance.

You know, that kind of reminds me of something of mine:

Did you happen to collect your labels, and do you have anything with one of those names on it? Just a (probably misplaced) theory...
Cheers,
Aus.

Between baseballs and hurricanes, I learned to always, always attach the label to the *plant*, not the pot, hanger, or clip.
Drawback: when the wind takes the plant and leaves the pot, you don't know what is missing.

This is most certainly not a Schomburkia hybrid.
