Default Paph chamberlainium x Paph delanatii ???

I received this plant out of bloom from a mail order vendor. It has now bloomed and is a very pretty lemon shade. Unfortunately it is supposed to be pink!!!!

Does anyone know this cross well? Is it possible that it could be lemon coloured? I have asked the vendor for some consideration i.e. a replacement or a refund but I'd like an opinion from you guys as to whether this could be as labelled, please?

Hedge,
Give the bloom a few days to mature before you get too concerned. The yellow should go to white, and then you'll have a white bloom with pink speckles, which is what you would expect from Dellaina. Hope this helps!
BTW - LOVE that record!

Yes it does, the vendor confirms your opinion. As Chrissie said in the Profumo case "Well he would, wouldn't he!"

Glad someone else out there likes Alan Parsons Project - I like all this album except #Shadow of a Lonely Man which I find too maudlin - but I got stuck with the Hedge nickname when I was a child and this line seemed appropriate for a gardener! I wish I could do all the other things that the song says!!
