it may be tricky to id seedlings. the seller said these are paphs, but they look like dendrobiums to me. especially when plantlets start to emerge from the bigger plants. coments welcome.

I think you're spot-on with your ID. Definitely not Paphiopedilum; they most resemble nobile-type Dens. Good luck with them!

They look like Dens to me especially number 4, I would contact the seller and see if they can ID them, they should know what flasks they had at that time.
Then I would ask what happened to the Paphs that these ones were supposed to be.

Here are some pictures I just took of nobile type Dendrobium that are about 7 months out of flask

I am not saying youdon't have Dendrobium but yours don't have cains like my nobile type Dendrobium

Now that I think about it looks more like some Cattleya that I had. I will look to see if I still have any that small tomorrow. I havn't grown any Paphiopedilum so for all I know that is what they look like.
