Default Are These Orchids?

I´m pretty sure the first one is an orchid but what about the second one? It´s growing in and around a bromeliad and in six years I´ve never seen it flower.

They certainly both look like they could be. Without seeing flowers, though, it's pretty hard to say yes or no.

They bothlook like orchids to me and the second like an Epidendrum, one of the reedstems.

That first one could possibly be ginger family, but I'm not familiar with what genera might be in Colombia, if any. More likely an orchid. The second one is almost certainly an Epidendrum orchid, as Ron suggested.

Hi, I couldn't really say on the first one, if it is an orchid I'd guess something related to the epidendrum family.

The second one I'd say definitely an epidendrum but I'm really surprised that you say it has never flowered. Does it get a lot of sun and do you feed it at all? Epi's are usually profuse bloomers if they get enough light.

Well that´s odd because yes it´s in the open in my gardens, does get a lot of light and for six months I´ve been feeding it.
