Where did you buy it? to me the shape looks like Vanda lilacina but some colors are a bit off.

Exactly.
I bought from a person liquidating his collection. I was told that it came from China and never had a tag.

Well i could be some Vanda lilacina cultivar or some primary hybrid. Will you sleep ok if you will never find out? Probably lots of stuff from China comes without a tag.

Vanda lilacina does origin from China. I googled and found this

That is exactly how it looks like! So it is Vanda lilacina after all. Thank you so much. You guys are the best!



How I grow it... It was mounted when i got it, but it wasn't doing well. I unmounted and potted it in lava rocks, bark, charcoal mix. In summer it is outside in direct morning sun - about 5-6 h, shade for the rest of the day. It is about 95F out there now and i keep it constantly moist when it is that hot. In winter it is in a south window, water one a week, temp about 64-70F.
