Been shopping again
Default Been shopping again

Hello everybody.

Today after work I drove to pick up my wife from her work, which just happens to be near one of the biggest, if not the biggest, plant markets in Bangkok. I came away with three new orchids. But they have no labels. Even if I had remembered to ask the seller what they were I wouldn't be able to remember the name in Thai.

Two of them have a lot of roots growing down the outside of the pot. I'm not sure if this will be a problem. I'm sure it will make repotting a little difficult.

One of them looks like it has been kept rather damp. It even has a little mushroom growing out of the side. Should I wait until after these finish flowering before I repot them?

So here are the pictures. Can anyone tell me anything about these three orchids.

Really good looking plants, Nathan. I'd wait till they finish blooming to repot. When you're ready, soak them really well. It'll make all those roots a little easier to handle.
