Microcattleya cattleyioides?? Male
Default Microcattleya cattleyioides??

My parents have this plant with a name tag Laelia cattleyoides (new name Microcattleya cattleyioides). This should be a natural hybrid between Microlaelia lundii and Cattleya lodigesii. Although I've been able to find some information in the following article. I'm not able to find any pictures. Anybody able to confirm or deny this?

edit: Found some pictures under Lc. fredna which according to the article should be the same these flowers look similar but more even in colour.

OK,
Cattleya Fredna is the man made one and Microcattleya cattleyioides is the natural hybred. Will have a look around and see if I can find some images for you.

The plant decided to flower again.

Strange how different the flowers are.
