Default Coelogyne? Not sure.

Can anyone identify this orchid? It's quite large with leaves more than 12" long, and has bloomed once a couple of years ago. Coelogyne is my best guess, but I can't seem to find one just like this, with the same markings. The flowers were on a spike, and were good sized. I believe it made 9 flowers that time. Can’t remember if it had a scent, though. Any tips on getting it to bloom again would be great. Thanks!

It's an Oncidium alliance intergeneric, not a Coelogyne

Yours is a Dgmra Winter Wonderland, probably a mericlone of 'White Fairy' AM/AOS.

I have one and they bloom in late summer if I remember correctly. So far I am treating them with high filtered light and I have mine in semi-hydro. I'm hoping to rebloom it again this year.

Thank you both so much! I never would have guessed this was an Oncidium--I thought most Oncidium flowers were much smaller. And none of my books have this variety either. And yes, mine bloomed in late summer as well.

Well this is a cross of 3 which can be larger than Oncidiums.

Does anyone know if this orchid is relatively common? Just curious.

It is readily available for purchase. I got mine from SLO Orchids-if I remember correctly (a cutting bare root from one of theirs) via ebay auction.

I think they were $7 per cutting if you bought 8 and they had a large list to choose from. It was a really good deal because the cuttings were large and 3 of them bloomed right away.
