not an orchid

Hi all;
I was given this plant by a friend. I am quite certain it is not an orchid,but have hope that someone may be able to help with I.D. as the friend had no clue as to it's ID either.
It blooms sequentially like a Physc. and has a scent like a Brassavola. the bloom only last for one day. Now fr the fun part of trying to upload the photo's. This plant grows in a fan like a Paph. There are two plants in this pot.Also you start new plants from the bloom on the end of the leaf after they finish their bloom sequence.
