Default Can anyone help me id these???

Hi everyone!
I'm new to growing and caring for orchids but I've always loved them. I never thought I'd be able to keep one alive. I have 3, now and I just wanted to make sure that what they are, is what I think they are. My spelling is terrible so I won't attempt, If you could just tell me what you think. I got the white one at a costco, the green/yellow at a big y and the purple/burgandy at a christmas tree shop.

This is my first time posting so if the photos don't work please let me know!

Thank-You

The first ones are various hybrids of Phalaenopsis but there are so many of these in existence that it's impossible to give an exact name. The last two appear to be a type of Encyclia but I don't grow these so, hopefully, someone else will chime in with an ID for you. Welcome to this engaging hobby and to the Orchid Board!

I agree that your 2 Phalaenopsis probably can't be further identified with certainty because there are so many similar hybrids. I can make a good guess on the Encyclia though. It is almost certainly Encyclia cordigera or possibly a hybrid of cordigera.

Ditto on the Phals. The Encyclia certainly looks like Enc. cordigera, but may be a hybrid

The Enc. looks just like my Nursery Rhyme which is pretty popular at the moment.

Welcome to Orchid Board

You have some great looking Phals there and I love your Encyclia, I will really have to get one like that.

Looking at the flowers ofthe Enclyclia again, I go for a hybrid - they are not quite what cordigera should look like IMO.

Not cordigera. Possibly Rioclarense ( cordigera x randii )
