Default Structure Identification of Laelia Furfuracea

Hi. My Laelia furfuracea all the sudden decided to start growing something. I'm not sure if this is a new pseudobulb, or if it is a new bloom stalk. I'm hoping the latter -- it hasn't bloomed since December, and it's bloom is my favorite.

What do you guys think?

It is the purple thing right in the middle of the picture.

I really can't see from your pic, but bloom spikes on Laelias grow from the top of the pbulb, new growth will initiate from base of a one
