Hi everyone

I have been seeing this plant in our garden unattended for almost two years now. It caught my attention when I was doing some researches on orchid care. I saw pictures of an orchid which looks like the plant here and when I took a closer look at it, it has orchid-like bulbs that has a flat presentation. This was originally owned by my eldest sister. I've been trying to get hold of her to ask if the plant ever bloomed and if it did, what did the flower looks like. She's out-of-town since early this week so I dont have any other info to share except the ones I already mentioned. So my question first of all-- is this an orchid? And if so, what kind? Ive rehabilitated this plant already so this looks so much better than when I first put my hands on it. Please help so I can take care of it more properly. Shall wait for everyone's valuable inputs. Thanks!

Yep! Definitely an orchid- Oncidium alliance, I believe.
The bulbs look to be in pretty good condition, I'd say you've been doing something right.

Wow, Im so happy to know I have an Oncidium! Ive divided the plant into two more than a month ago and the other pot needs more proper care. The bulbs are shriveled and Im wondering what is it that I do (or dont do) to make them curl up and shrivel like that. At least now I have a clear lead for care research. Thanks so much Izzie! **hugs**

The bulbs generally either shrivel with age, or from underwatering. I'm notorious for it. :X
They likely won't plump up after they've shriveled- just a reminder of a lesson learned, no worries, they still work just fine.
