Default Need Help Identifying Two So-Called Miniature Orchids

I purchased these two so-called miniature orchids at a Home Depot store a few weeks back. I checked the roots and they appeared to be in good shape. I'm trying to figure out what they are most closely related to. I'm aware that they are phalaenopsis but don't know anything else about them. Are they called miniature only because they are at the moment smaller plants or ....? What I refer to as the yellow orchid has leaves that resembles a normal Phal's elongated leaf measuring around 9". The striped orchid has smaller rounder leaves that I would say measure only 4" in length.

Hi CJ, and welcome! I'm afraid that identification is nearly impossible for Phal hybrids with no tag.

But I must say that photo #1 is beautiful. Nice photography!

Thanks, I liked that little yellow fellow as soon as I spotted him/her. I'm a newbie to orchids but I'm trying to soak up all I can and keep these plants alive in hopes that once I get some experience I can expand my collection. It's a shame these places don't keep a tag with the plant besides just saying orchid.
