Default Yellow with brown spots and long lateral sepals

Seems like this is another native New Guinea genus - anyone know what it is? The pseudobulbs look somewhat like a Coelogyne, but the inflorescence arises from the base of the pseudobulb not the tip.

Thanks!
Phil

If I'm not mistaken I think that you've got some type of Bulbophyllum. Now which species is it I'm not sure of. This one is one of the sequential bloomers that will keep producing buds from that same inflorescence.

Wow, Rolando, thanks for the tip. I didn't think it looked like a bulbophyllum, but I've gone through the PNG Orchids site on my slow internet today, and found an exact match - Bulbophyllum oobulbum.

It definetely looked like a Bulbophyllum to me the second I saw it. It reminded me of Bulbo. echinolabium when I saw it.
