I purchased it on EBay from a vendor who was selling Laelia pumila. The vendor informed me that the one I won at the online auction was no longer for sale and he offered me this one because he said that it was easier than a refund. I agreed. He claimed that it was from a guy in Hawaii who said it was Laelia pumila and of award quality. He called it Laelia pumila 'Makuu'. That was 4 years ago. It finally bloomed because he sent me a straggly 3 growth division with no roots that needed to recover. I just nursed it along until now.
