Below is the key of the tribe Sarcanthinae. This will hopefully show how many different genus that particular species may fall into.

As seen from the above post it may well be a Acampe species although the lip isn't right I don't think.
Plectorrhiza or tho not classified to a particular alliance yet could also be a possibility as both plant habit and flower structure are very similar.

Sarcanthinae
Nearly half the genera in Sarcanthinae has been left out in the above listing:
Dimorphorchis, Dyakia, Esmeralda, Grosourdya, Haraella, Holcoglossum, Kingidium, Micropera, Papilionanthe, Plectorrhiza, Pomatocalpa, Rhinerrhiza, Schoenorchis, Sidirea, Seidenfadenia, Smitinandia, Taeniophyllum, Thrixspermum, Trudelia.
I think you might find your answer in Thrixspermum, a genus of some 100 to 150 species, widely distributed from Ceylon and India to the Pacific islands.

Hi,YC.
I'll put in my 2c worth. After doing a bit of reseach I am quite sure what you have there is a pteroceras species the tall side lobes on the lip are indicative of these species?

Gongora, you are amazing
I was so convinced that it was a Thrixspermum that I didn't look further afield. But you are absolutely right. It is a Pteroceras emarginatum, which incidentally, has not been recorded in Sarawak before.

Wow after all this time. Congrats.
Now, how is it doing? Any update with pics available? Did those flower buds ever open?

Most are growing under artificial light. I have 6 that grow with eastern exposure, and some artificial lights early in the night hours.
For artificial lights I use flourescent tubes. Thanks for looking at my gallery!
