I have another question. I found this plant yesterday, it was labeled as Vylstekeara cambria. Guess it is Oncidium alliance? So, as our garden center dosn't have much knowledge about orchids, I thought it would be better to ask you guys about it...
...except that that plant is NOT Vuylstekeara Cambria! Which looks like this:
The popularity of Vuylstekeara Cambria 'Plush' (pictured above) somehow led to "Cambria" being used as a generic term for similar Oncidiine intergenerics in Europe.
Generally, since they tend to have more odontoglossum in them, they should be grown a but cooler than a "pure" oncidium.
I had this plant too, from a Homebase store. Mine has reflowered but was a rescue and is still sickly. The nearest I got with an identification was Beallara 'Eurostar'*::*Odontoglossum*::*Easy Orchids links to Easy orchids UK web page
I think it's the same. Beallara is a multi generic hybrid of Brassia, Cochlioda, Miltonia and Odontoglossum (Brs. x Cda. x Milt. x Odm.). Links to wikipedia pages
