Default Help needed for an ID

Hi all,

The plant below was sold to me as Laelia flava, but it clearly is not. Apart from anything else, the pseudobulbs have more than one leaf (2-3) and are morphologically different in shape to that Laelia. I'm not sure what it is, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Andrew,

Since you say the bulbs and leaves are different than Laelias, could you post a photo of them? It may help to pinpoint what plant you have!

Hard to say without seeing the leaves and pseudobulbs you mention, but my first impression of the flower suggested Cattleya (Guarianthe) aurantiaca, and assuming Laelia (Cattleya) flava (crispata) plays a part this could be Lc. (Ctt.) El Cerrito.

I don't have a clue as to what it is, but it is very pretty.
