Unknown dendrobium - Orchid Board

Hi folks.

Spring has sprung around here and things are blooming again.

This little red and white soft-cane dend lacks a name. Any ideas? It's perfumed at certain times through the day, what I can only describe as floral. I can't get better detail as my camera doesn't like to get too close.

Aus, it looks a lot like the Den. yukidaruma 'king' AM/AOS that I bought at the Orchid Fair at Bray Park back in February.

umm. baz, i don't think yukidaruma has those colours, mine is a dark purple kind of colour

EDIT: Ive done some looking, there seems to be some varyation in the species, or at least what people ascribe to the species.
here is waht mine looks like, though this is not my picture, nor my plant.

Haha fair enough - i think you might be right with the name, and, yukidaruma is scented too. I realyy like them, but mines a bit finnicky - probably cause it doesnt like my conditions i guess.

Sorry to inform you but there is no such thing as a Purple Den. Yukidaruma.

This one looks like the sister to "The King" which is "The Queen", its not as white nor as dark purple in the throat of the lip as the King. Flower shape is not quite as good either.
