It looks like an Epidendrum pseudepidendrum. They're spectacular flowers, and easy to grow.

That appears to be Epicattleya Rene Marquez 'Flamethrower'. It is a pseudoepidendrum hybrid.

Wow, Laura has some great pics of your 'chids.

And your dogs are sooo cute! I found some in her gallery of one of them swimming in the pool. They look wonderful

Thanks for the name info, Suzanne, that is really a lovely orchid. Going onto my must have list... Is it a hard cultivator to find, do you know...?

I don't think it would be hard to find. The person I got mine from isn't around at the moment

I hear thunder...LOUD thunder...so I have to shut down but tomorrow I will post some suggestions unless somebody beats me to it

Good for you, Narnia...! I am envious..! I have been growing Catts for 8+ years, and I have never seen this, or a color combination quite like it. It's really striking and really jumped out at me...! The Epi-Catts are very popular here in Southern California, as you can grow them outdoors year round and they love high (direct) sunlight, but I've never seen one this colorful and bright...!
