Default NOID peloric phal

I just got this little guy as I have never seen a peloric phal in person so I couldn't pass him up. Does anyone know what he might be? I know NOID phals are almost impossible to identify. Its fairly small, flowers are about 2 inches across and the larges leaf is only 7 inches.

Thanks in advance,

Kristen

I just realized I misspelled peloric in the title and I can't seem to change it. Sorry about that!

The handy glossary from here says:
"A term used to describe an unusual condition where all three petals (instead of just one) have developed to mimic the Labellum in shape and/or color.

Coined by Darwin to describe a mutant flower that has many planes of reflectional symmetry."
I thought mine was peloric because of the color difference and the strange shape of the side petals.

Does anyone know if my phal will always be peloric or is it environmental?

Hi Kristen,
When I saw you picture it reminded me of one of mine, bought last year. So I just found a photo from last june..My flower is a lot more 'rounded' but It's the same colour as yours! Hopefully someone will recognise it?

PS:
I have just noticed from the date of the photo that it's now 13 months I have had it. It kept its opened flowers on for a good 3 months and the spikes are still very green with 'frozen' buds. It has grown 2 new leaves in the year & was attacked by mealies during this time.

I think we have the same orchid! I got mine from Trader Joe's and they had another one just like mine except "normal". It looked exactly like yours, with the rounder petals.

Thanks for the info on how yours has done the last year, that makes me feel better about my impulse buy.

It looks sorta like Phal Brother Pepride Crown Fox x Sundown but the the other modified petals make it hard to tell.

It's beautiful whatever it is. Nice growing!

Yes it does, except both mine and Kristens have... a 'little horn' on the petals as well..

Could Nenella and my orchid be a Phal. Kuntrarti Rarashati 'Copperstate'? I found this picture and it very similar:
