is this Vanda Tan Chay Yan (V. dearei x V. Josephine van Brero)? the one on my pictures looks the same as those described on web page GCS Forum > vanda tan chay yan

This might also be V. Mas Los Angeles - (Mevr. L. Velthuis x Sunray). Do you have label or tag info as to parentage or hybrid name. The foliage appears to be semi-terete and may give some info as to what this plant might be but without 'authentication', it's a very pretty Noname

PS ... if it is Tan Chay Yan, I would have expected more dearii influence - flower size, shape, color

the vanda i got is from my cousin's backyard. no label/tag.

on closer inspection, the one i have comes with semi-terete leaf and petals are salmon pink - rather than purple as shown on Vanda Mas Los Angeles on Flickr - Photo Sharing! as what a Vanda MAS Los Angeles could be.
