Default I'm a new owner of two orchids, I need help identifying and knowing how to care for.

My mom absolutely loves orchids and so do I, although, every orchid that she gets doesn't seem to bloom well or live long. She doesn't have a lot of time to take care of them but she tries.

We've recently bought two orchids. One that is a dendrobium and I'm guessing a noid and the other is a spider orchid but I'm not sure of its specific name.

Please help me identify and learn how to take care of these.
Also they've developed black spots and the leaves have turned yellow. I've read its due to watering at night but I'm just hoping its no other reason. My mom waters it late whenever she remembers because she's always busy.

Spider Orchid

Dendrobium Noid?

Thank you in advance!

The first one looks like a Miltassia (Brassia x Miltonia) but im not exactly chure which one. The second one i cant say. I'm not an expert on Dendrobiums. The black spots on the leaf is probably a fungal disease that is caused by watering at night or late in the day. That is not a very good sign as it may mean your orchid will die. ALWAYS water early in the morning so the plant can dry out before night fall.

Hope this helps.

The first looks to me like bllra

possibly 'tropic splendor' ?

Beallara Tropic Splendor 'Golden Gate'

bllra is an intergeneric oncidium hybrid of Brassia, Cochlioda, Miltonia, and Odontoglossum
I got one early this year, division from fellow ob-er Aileen, and have found it quite easy to grow - I have it in a west facing window and let it get not entirely dry inbetween watering

Thank you all for your replies, I really appreciate them.

I REALLY hope it doesn't die! What can I do to save it? I've cut the leaves that are infected with the same scissors but I've tried to clean between every cut. I could take a picture of the leaves if you need but I think everyone knows what it is.

Its so funny that my mom can't exactly take care of an orchid but my dad has an entire collection of them (we don't live together so my dad can't take care of my mom's orchids).

Edit: I think I am okay with taking care of my dendrobium. I put it out in the morning before noon for the high sunlight and then take it inside afterwards but have it infront of the window for lighter, indirect sunlight.

I get confused sometimes when I'm reading about the direction of where the plants are put. If you're facing my house/the window the 'Beallara Tropic Splendor 'Golden Gate'' is to the east and receives indirect sunlight. How much sunlight does it need?

Most of my oncidium types get at least a couple to a few hours of direct sunlight - just not midday - either morning or afternoon and that seems to be working well generally

The first one is a Degarmoara Winter Wonderland (I have one just like it). Not sure what the den hybrid is.
