So I just had to leave the store with this wonderful Dendro. The color is so rich and dark it is very difficult to photograph. Most of the shots I took where simply too washed out. I had to really mess with the camera to make it take a realistic photo. But even then the colors aren't totally right. Close, but not a true rendition of the real colors. Reds are always the hardest to reproduce acurately.

Anyhow, on to the plant!

My feeling is that it is some sort of Norma Jackson. Or maybe it is a Norma Jackson. I've never seen a proper picture of one.

So, any clues?

Chas, have a look at Den. Udom Sart. I have one in flower that looks a lot like yours.

Any photos of it you can share?
I can't seen to find any when I Google it.

Do you have any pictures of your Dend. Phatum Red that you could post? I'd love to see it.

It is a bigibbum hybrid.

There are 6355 registered hybrids in which it is an ancestor, so good luck getting a reliable ID.

I can see why you choose this one. The color is beautiful! You are right, reds are hard to picutre but I think we get a pretty good Idea how this one looks IRL.
Thanks for showing us this Den. with stunning color!
