Mystery oncidium-ish plant

Greetings -
This is my friend's plant, tag long-ago vanished. She would like to send it to the New Orleans show next weekend...it needs a name! If someone can suggest one, she might recognize it as accurate.
This plant is large, 3' or so without flowers, and the inflorescences are 3-4' long. Pseudobulbs are palm-sized, round, flattened and smooth. Big flowers, and I don't remember if they are scented.
Any clues?

HI Nancy, Without the tags, I don't think you will be able to ID it. I have a Rehfieldara Jerry 'Pacific Empire' that resembles how your plant looks...large and numerous sprays of blooms. Different color blooms, but the shape and behavior of the blooms are very similar. Perhaps a Rehfieldara? Sorry I couldn't be more help.
