Can anyone help identify this thing?
Default Can anyone help identify this thing?

I recently went on a visit to my grandparent's house. Nobody has been there for a few years, and I ran across a huge mass of stuff. It looks like it was originally 3 huge planters potted in sand. It looks like the mass had died back several times and was just a lump of dried stems and roots mixed in with some shoots of greenery growing without any medium. I took a few minutes to liberate some of the better looking segments. Can anyone help me identify these? I've taken the strategy of watering them every couple of days until I get them back to Michigan, which is a lot better than they've had in the drought conditions in Florida.
