Hi there, a friend of mine ask me for help to ID this orchid, She thinks it coul be a Epicattleya but she is not sure, could you help us please:

I'd say it's a cross involving Encyclia and Cattleya. Very pretty!

It does look like an Epicattleya, now Cattcyclia.

My friend has tagged this one just like Marissa said... Epicattleya Yucatan. So I´ll tell her to add the term. Cattcyclia as RoyalOrchids says.

It's a Cattcyclia that looks similar, but not identical to, the well known Cattcyclia 'Pine Knot'. So, I'll go with 'Yucatan' too.
