Help me Identify this orchid
Default Help me Identify this orchid

I bought this particular orchid at Home Depot and it was not tagged. It caught my eye because it sat among
many phals. I recognized the psudobulbs but that is it.

Please help me identify, so I may care for it properly.

Thanks in advance.

Curtis

Edit: sorry forgot to include pics

Could it be an Encyclia?

I have spent the whole night looking at encyclia orchid pics from all types of resources and have been unsuccesful thus far. I looked at about 135 from this site alone. www.orchidspecies.com/indexe-ep.htm

Sorry I can not help with the identification, I just have phals, catts, and a den. Just a thought: If your plant is a hybird it probably will not be in a species index.

Its an Encyclia for sure and probably a hybrid. Being a hybrid, you can look at a thousand website with species and never find a similar flower. You need to google Encyclia Hybrids.

I checked the bar code label which was still on the pot.

It said "Assorted Orchids Klehm"

I did a search and found Klehm Growers.

I sent email with pics asking for identification.

Definitely an Encyclia. If it's a hybrid then I can't help you there. I'm not too familiar with Encyclia hybrids. Encyclia hybrids tend to not be too common.

I appreciate the interest and as soon as I find out from the grower what it is, I let you all know. Thanks KING!
