There's a relatively recently published book out there totally dedicated to Phalaenopsis, and there are many nice color photos of many hybrids and some species. I think I know which book you are talking about. Is it "Moth Orchids: The Complete Guide to Phalaenopsis" ? (by Steven A. Frowine.) I have his mini orchids book, which is excellent, and really want to get the phal one! And the one on fragrant orchids too!
