Default What am I?

One of our Orchid Club members passed away. Her family gave out her orchids. I was lucky enough to receive this little orchid. It came without a tag. This is the first time I have gotten it to bloom! Hooray!! I don't even know what genus(?) it is although I can pretty much tell it isn't a Phaleonopsis or Dendrobium.
I am posting pictures of the flower and the plant in the hopes that someone can tell me what it is.

Thanks, I took the name you proposed and looked at some other sites on the internet with photos and I think you are correct. Should this plant have a scent? I haven't noticed one. Could that be because it is the first blooming?

That's superb! The flower looks huge compared to the plant! Good growing! Congratulations!

Your orchid is yet another Encyclia that has now been reclassified into a different genus.
Currently Euchile mariae is the accepted name.

Actually Euchile mariae is just a synonym. The Accepted name now is Prosthechea mariae per Kew.

Well, I still call mine Encyclia mariae

Thanks
I have fallen way behind learning the new generic and specific assignments for orchids that used to all be called Encyclia 'x'.
