Could someone please help me ID this silver dollar size orchid. The seller was at a show and the sales people were clueless. The mount is discintegrating so it needs to be remounted. So any ideas would be helpful. Not sure if it requires shade or what moisture levels.

It appears to be a Pleurothallis of some sort, but it is impossible to tell without blooms, which one it is and even if it is Pleurothallis.

Probably Pl. grobyi. It is one of the most common ones. It could be something closely related, you'd have to have a flower for a better ID.

It kind of looks like a Barbosella that I've had before, except with a more dense growth habit... i dunno

It certainly looks like Pleurothallis grobyi. I grow mine in my vivarium in intermediate temps, about 6" under my T5 lights and strong air movement. It also gets misted daily in warmer months. Hope this helps!
