Please identify this orchid

Hi,

My wife recently bought this orchid which came with a helpful pot label which said "orchid".

Any help in identifying it would be grateful received. Am I right in thinking it's a dendrobium?

Any help with caring for it would also be welcome. It has started to lose leaves (which have yellowed) from the spikes. Should the bare spikes be left once flowering has finished? It's in a sunny, centrally heated room but not in full sun.
