hi, hskin -
I don't know the name, but I'm interested in finding out. Looks kind of similar to my NOID which is also lightly fragrant.

Thanks all. I think I can live with my noid cym.
Ethan, I like your cym with the red lip. Very pretty. Yours seem to have bigger flowers than mine......
I bought my cym three years ago at Costco. It was blooming and had the darker green (see first two pics). I divided the plant into two and planted them in S/H after the bloom in first year. They didn't bloom until this spring. I may give out one of them (without bloom in a gallon S/H container) if someone can pick up locally.

Hi, hskin! I didn't realized from the first pic that the lip on yours is more orange, I guess it's not the same as my NOID. Oh, and mine might have larger flowers, but yours has so many!! I can't believe all of them!! have you counted, yet?

Hi Ethan, I have already counted when they were little buds.....Sweet sixteen and around 2.5 inches big. Yours should have at least a dozen and 3 inches big....Do you want to trade off yours?....lol
I think my cymbidium is from Sequoia Orchids. I seemed to see that name somewhere around my cym. I checked its web site but I did not see any cyms actually like mine....so I may register a new name for it.

Wow, 16! I really think yours has a much better display with all the flowers and how close together they are...just beautiful!
You are pretty close on mine: 11 blooms and 4'' flowers. So the size between ours isn't too far off. Unfortunately a trade would result in my head on a platter by my partner...he loves it...
