I've never purchased from an online vendor. Assuming he is reputable, and the pictures are true to the plant being sold, then you pay your money and that is what you should expect to receive. For me and I would think others who do buy online, the important factor is the seller's reputation and that he will stand behind his product and correct any issues with the plant upon arrival.

The plant being shown in the picture looks nice.

Ordering it would take a leap of faith as this vendor has zero feedback info. He or she may be just starting out and you would be their first customer

Hi,
If you really want a pure white Catt. I'd wait or search for one. Since this cross has not bloomed the outcome is an unknown.
The plant does look healthy but is mounted......can your conditions handle a mounted Catt?

Al

[EDIT]
If you are willing to wait a couple of years and grow this one on, it's a nice white with a very good background.
I've purchased from this vendor before and found her reliable.

If you wanted one decent white cattleya orchid, my suggestion would be to avoid EBay and simply go visit the website of one of the many reputable vendors who have quality plants--and, equally important, have return policies that guarantee safe delivery of their plants, especially during this time of year. I just visited Hausermann's website (Welcome to Orchids By Hausermann On-Line Orchid catalog.) and found a number of decently-priced large white cattleya plants. I bought a C. Bob Betts from them last spring and it flowered this past fall; beautiful huge flowers that were fantastically fragrant. Oak Hill probably also has similar products. And to second Al's comment, you want to make sure that you can accommodate a mounted cattleya. Standard catts get pretty large and might not lend themselves well, long term, to being mounted (unless you're lucky enough to live somewhere that allows you to tie it to a tree and forget about it :-). Good luck with your search.

Steve

There is no way of knowing what this cross will look like, it may not resemble the parents at all. If you don't mind growing it for a while, I always see Ruben In Orchids selling flasks of C. percivaliana var alba, they may have some older ones.

I second the Hausermann suggestion can't beat the Bob Betts for scent and beauty . Never know what color the one you listed would be I have one that has a big white as a parent the bloom is no where near the same color or size bloom and has no scent .. Gin
