Default PNG NOIDs again

Here are some more NOIDs I've collected in my garden, and would love to ID them as part of making sure I treat them right...! Click on the thumbnails to see the bigger pictures in my gallery.

i) This one I actually bought in a shop! Got to visit a town last week. Am I right in presuming it is a vanda of some kind? And if so that it needs quite a bit of sun?

All the rest came from the local sellers at the market...

ii) Comparing to a book I have here this looks like an arachnis... is that right?

iii) This is a terrestrial with small white flowers clustering at the top of a single spike:

iv) This is another terrestrial with pseudobulbs bearing two leaves and fairly large flowers

v) Yet another terrestrial - the flowers seem very similar to the much smaller dendrochilum I have on a nearby tree.

vi) This has beautiful tiny cream flowers with an orange lip

vii) Fairly large pseudobulbs, with little pink bell like flowers.

viii) Finally, I have no idea what kind this is, or what flowers. I have had it for several months and no sign of growth or flowering, so if ayone can help me with identification and how to look after it - thanks!

Thanks for any help!

Phil

I can certainly help with the first one...... It is definitely a Vanda..... Living in PNG would mean you could probably grow it outside well...... In warm conditions and sun... Just not direct sun as it will sunburn.

I'll make a guess

1. definitely a Vanda hybrid
2. Most likely Arachnis flos-aeris yellow
3. Calanthe triplicata
4. Coelogyne asperata
