Can you post a picture of the plant itself? I think, only going by the flower, it's a hard cane dendro but seeing the rest of the plant would verify it.

Perhaps the most important thing about evergreen Dendrobiums ike you D. phalaenopsis/bigibbum hybrid is to avoid drafts. In Virginia, keep them away from a drafty window this winter. here in Florida it is important to keep them away from air conditioning vents.
