cattleya noid...help me name this one! - Orchid Board

i bought a lot of cattleyas and mini catts from carmela, and this one was included without a tag, so i waited for the blossom to see what it is....but i cant identify it....i will also email the pic to carmelas and see if they can come up with a name. it sure is a beauty tho! i love spots! and i love greens! it is a lot greener than the picture shows, the sun was behind it this afternoon and made it yellow looking....

I think it bears a striking resemblance to my Rsc. Waianie Leopard...

If I were you I would e-mail them with a picture and odds are they will tell you what it is. There are so many of those spotted hybrid cattleyas that it would be impossible to identify.

yes i did that, and i am anxiously awaiting the answer, lol...it is too pretty to end up a noid....
