Default Vanda or Ascocenda?

Does anyone have any idea if this is a Vanda or Ascocenda? If so a name/variety for it? I've had it since March, 2008 and it has bloomed 3 times since then. It is now sending up 2 more flower spikes. It is almost never without flowers or buds!

Thanks!

Looks a lot like Ascda Pricess Mikassa 'Blue'.

Whatever it is, it sure is a keeper. Beautiful color, and constant blooms, what else could you ask for? I need one like it .
What kind of light, or any other special care, does it get?

Default Thanks for the help!

Thank you all for the help and the comments. I did a google search and mine definitely appears to be Ascocenda Princess Mikassa 'blue'. I really appreciate the help - I usually refuse to buy an orchid unless it has a tag identifying it, but this was a gift. Of course there are always the ones that are so irresistable that you can't help yourself.

Thanks again!!

Hi Marilyn -

As far as light - 1-2 hours direct sun in the morning. About 40% shade in the afternoon. However, being in NE Ohio we have only had 2 days of sun in the last month, but that doesn't seem to bother it.

I have it growing in a wood slat basket with very coarse bark, hanging from the ceiling. I water 1-2 times a week with a mixture of orchid bloom fertilizer and regular orchid fertilizer, mixed at half strength. On the other days, I just mist the basket, roots, and bark, but not the foliage.

Humidity ranges from 60% -80%. I thought vandas/ascocendas were warm blooming, but lately my temperatures are 70 during the day and 55 at night, and it's still producing spikes, so maybe I'm wrong?

Mine came from a local grower in NE ohio, but it seems this is a pretty popular variety, so should be relatively easy to find.
