Need another hybrid name
Anyone know if Lc. Blushing Angel x Sl. Psyche has been registered?

I looked them up on the RHS orchid finder. I found this:
Sophrocattleya Ward's Anytime Delight = Sophrocattleya Blushing Angel x Sophronitis Psyche, registered in 1988.
I'm assuming it's the same cross, even though you write that the first plant is a Laeliocattleya.
You should try out the RHS plant finder, it will help you out a lot with the questions you have on hybrid names and registrations. I think Dorothy was the one who told me about it in a thread. I find it so so useful. You can search by parents or by grex name. If you type only one parent, you will get all the registered crosses made with that plant as a parent.

I miss Dorothy. Cammille, your quick response and link just kind of reminded me how fast she is to post those links. In her absence, you're doing great!

I was just thinking about her the other day. It's been awhile. I know Sue mentioned something came up for her and she wouldn't be around for a while....but i want her back! All of our moderators are the best! Keep up the good work Cammille!
Sorry to hijack!

Thanks, Camille, for the info and the link. Didn't know about it, though I've been on the RHS website a time or two.

Hey Ron, one more thought on the RHS plant finder. I've found that being vague in your search parameters will usually yield better results. Maybe it's the name changes, maybe it's my poor spelling. For instance, if I was doing your search, I might just type in Blushing Angel and then sort though the search results. That way, if your tag is wrong, or you still use old names, you won't be scratching your head when you get "0 results found. Try the reverse order" message.

I agree with Royal. Sometimes genus names change, so I only type the hybrid name, then find what I need in the list of results.
